Mrs. Christiana Lovelace, AAMS, has spent the last 15 years of her life working in finance, revenue management, and client service. Her passion for community and helping others succeed is what has inspired her to build Diamond Pointe Financial.
Growing up in rural East Tennessee and moving to Hickory in the height of the Financial Crisis gave Christiana a unique perspective on financial stability and what that means for individuals and families within a community. She believes that financial advisors have a responsibility to their clients and the area to be a reliable source and trusted friend during good times and bad times.
“Investors, especially retirees and families, are worried about the economy and their financial future. I believe that information and action cures anxiety. Getting you the information you need in a language you can understand is the best way to manage those feelings of insecurity in times of chaos and uncertainty.”
Christiana studied at East Tennessee State University before starting her career with Marriott. She was working in hospitality leadership when her passion for service and finance started to grow and in 2012 she took a position with Bank of America. Since then, every step of her career has been towards helping more people reach their goal of personal financial success.
Becoming an Accredited Asset Management Specialist through the Kaplan College for Financial Planning was another step in that direction. Before passing the final exam, Christiana completed a rigorous study program in broader areas, expanding on investment analysis, life insurance, estate planning, and taxes. Along with the technical skills required, designees must commit to and maintain a strict Code of Ethics. Currently, Christiana is working to become a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC), which will continue to build on her knowledge and experience in retirement planning.
Christiana and her husband, Monte, live in Caldwell County with their boys, Bradley and Riley, both students of Appalachian State University. As a family, they are strong advocates for the Alzheimer’s Association and they feel incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to support other local charities close to their hearts.
Christiana serves as the Secretary for the Foothills Kids Magazine Board of Directors, a member of the Longview LIONS Club, the Precinct Chair for her local voting site and she is an active member of the NCFRW.
